Hey guys!
Here’s an update for you. Good news is, I’ve gotten more time in working on the game. The bad news is, I’ve been seeking a new job, sadly, the company I’ve been working for has shut down and a lot of us went out of work. So, that’s why, I’ve got a lot more time now. :’D
It’s a bit sad, but we don’t cry over spilled milk. Let’s keep moving forward, like the game, we have here:
First: New Spells, and new Projectiles (please pardon my poor pixel art drawing skills)




Second: I’ve made some destructible objects, which are attacked by monsters.



Lastly, I’ve completed the basic 1-element spells. (Yes, there will be 2-element, 3-element spells). I’ll put up a spell list (somewhere), and attach it here: <spell list here> as I made it.

The elements have different spells that deal damage (or not) and has different properties and effects.
For example:
- The Arcane element, has the default, low damage, low cooldown, fast casting default spell.
- The Fire element, has, the usual, Fireball spell that burns the first target it hits and deals damage to surrounding monsters
- The Water element, has a spell that slows the first target it hits.
- The Wind element, pushes back the first target it hits.
- The Earth element, in the video, you can see that 2 slimes got wrecked, when the boulder was dropped, and leaves behind a boulder that blocks monsters. These destructibles are then attacked (look at that slime attack animation *wobbles*), or until it expires.
- The Nature element, leaves a bramble or walkable damage zone.
- Last, as a special treat, I’ve made a simple 2-Element spell: A combination of Nature and Wind element, called Blade Grass, where it passes through multiple slimes and pushes them back.
So, that’s how this game will be, by combining elements and clearing out waves, and bosses. However, not all spells will be available at the beginning and each will be unlocked separately while playing through the game via story mode.
The Crystal is the target of the monsters, and once destroyed, will cause you defeat! (Not yet implemented). There are still loads to come, and hopefully, people would have fun with this game.
