Hey guys!

Had my first day on developing the basics of the game, some core mechanics that I wanted to be laid out. I’m familiarizing myself to the tools and scripting API that I’m using: Unity. It’s quite difficult as well to juggle between my actual job and the development. It’s not gonna be like, focus more on my work than making the game, but rather balance between the two and give time.

So far, I made some sprites that I’ll be using, let me know what you think! (They’re pretty simple and basic, really).

Here’s a preview of what I am trying to do:

As a player, you can select different elements, combine them (or not) and cast a spell. The spell will deal damage on incoming monsters. Of course, you must protect “something” from the monsters, similar to any defense-like game.

To sum it up, I’ve only done a couple of artsy fartsy stuff, the layout, and a couple of working functions for the jello’s (they move, slowly).

See you next update!
