The first phase of Elements: Spellbound is now complete.
With the v0.1 series concluding at v0.1.8b, the core systems of the game are now in place. From elemental spellcasting to enemy encounters, the foundation of the experience has been established.
Development now moves forward to the next major milestone — v0.2: Endless Awakening.
This update will introduce new systems designed to expand replayability, progression, and long-term experimentation with spells and elements.
The roadmap above outlines the key systems planned for the v0.2 update.
Each of these features builds toward a more replayable and progression-driven experience.
Planned Systems for v0.2
Endless Mode
A new game mode where waves continue indefinitely, pushing players to survive as long as possible while testing different elemental combinations.
Meta Progression – Essence Shop
Runs will reward Essence, a currency used to unlock permanent upgrades that strengthen future runs.
Bestiary
A monster compendium displaying stats, abilities, and information about the enemies encountered throughout the game.
Grimoire
A spell archive that reveals spell details, elemental combinations, and deeper insight into how spells function.
Tier-3 Spells
The introduction of triple-element spell combinations, greatly expanding build possibilities.
Biomes
New environments that influence monsters, visuals, and gameplay atmosphere.
Weather System
Dynamic weather conditions during battles that may subtly influence combat situations.
Development for v0.2 is now underway, and I’m excited to continue expanding the world of Elements: Spellbound.
Thank you to everyone who has played the demo, shared feedback, and supported the project so far.
